Woe Men – what’s it all about?
This is my fortnightly newsletter in which I bang on about the things I really care about: me, men and life in general. I aim to publish an update every other Friday morning, and I’m hoping this will be a current news item or issue, or a person who has said something or done something recently that made me stop and think.
I have been a journalist all my working life. Having had staff jobs at a number of newspapers and edited a couple of magazines, I now freelance for several publishers and organisations, working exclusively from home.
The work-life imbalance has always fascinated (and infuriated) me, as have relationships and people in general. I think more and more about who I am, what I do, how I do it and how we are all doing these same things in our different ways.
Men are suffering these days, apparently. They also cause quite a lot of suffering too. That, in particular, is what I want to get stuck into in Woe Men. I don’t have many answers, I will ask a lot of questions and I will hopefully find and talk about people who know more than I do on these subjects. I hope to find the time to interview some of those people too and share some of their wisdom.
Please do subscribe if this sounds vaguely interesting and do tell me what you think, particularly if you disagree.
